Surf Langenfeld runs a UNIT Surf Pool standing wave on a lake in Langenfeld, between Düsseldorf and Cologne, alongside the Wasserski Langenfeld cable park. The operator calls it the world's first standing wave on a lake, which makes it open-air surfing in natural water rather than a sealed pool.
A standing wave on open lake water, run at different heights for different levels: a beginner setting for courses, a medium height for independent starts and first turns, and maximum height for the Big Surf Session, where your own board is recommended. Every course and session includes 60 minutes of surf time.
