Surf Farm is a planned wave park of up to 60 million dollars on a 10-hectare former pineapple farm beside Johnston Road at Glass House Mountains, at the gateway to Queensland's Sunshine Coast, about 55 minutes by car from Brisbane Airport. In April 2026 it chose a 62-module Wavegarden Cove, moving away from an earlier pneumatic plan. The project has development approval, with a Minor Change application to follow for the new wave technology. Sunshine Coast News reported in April 2026 that it was led by a team including URBNSURF foundation shareholders Adam Lamond and Chris Salmon, with Craig Morrison as a founding developer; as of October 2026 Surf Farm's team page lists Chris Salmon as director, Craig Morrison and Joel Parkinson as board members and Mark Salmon as project manager. In April 2026 construction was scheduled to start later that year, with completion planned by mid-2028; in September 2026 the start moved to preliminary earthworks in early 2027. The same month Surf Farm announced a partnership with URBNSURF Partners to test its commercial projections against operating data from URBNSURF's Melbourne and Sydney parks, and former world champion Joel Parkinson is part of the team.
A 62-module Wavegarden Cove, the same module count as Beyond the Club in São Paulo, which Wavegarden says gives the widest range of programmable wave settings and will be its biggest installation on Australia's east coast. No settings list has been published.
Nobody yet, in the literal sense: there is nothing to book. Once open, the stated design intent covers complete beginners through elite athletes on the same system, but that is a developer's plan rather than a tested lineup. If you're in Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast and drive to the ocean for a guaranteed session, this is the project to track.
No pricing has been published. The project is pre-construction, so treat any number you see elsewhere as speculation until Surf Farm publishes a rate card closer to opening.
