OANA Surf is open and sells sessions to the public. It runs Citywave in Ebikon, Lucerne, Switzerland.
Verified August 2026
Switzerland's only indoor wave and a properly built facility rather than a mall ride, held back only by not publishing what it costs.
OANA is a 1,200-square-metre Citywave facility inside the Mall of Switzerland at Ebikon, near Lucerne, and is the country's only indoor surf wave. Despite the mall location it runs as its own brand with a dedicated restaurant, a shop and a kids surf school rather than as a mall attraction.
A Citywave standing wave adjustable up to about 1.4 metres, held at what the venue calls tropical water temperature and ridden on real boards with fins. Being fully indoors, it runs identically year-round regardless of Swiss weather.
Central Switzerland locals and families, particularly through the kids surf school that runs on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of each month. The restaurant overlooking the wave makes it workable for mixed groups.
OANA does not publish a rate card on its own site; booking runs through an external platform. Comparable Swiss and German Citywave sessions run roughly CHF 50 to 65, but treat that as a reference point rather than OANA's actual price until the venue publishes one.
Closed Monday and Tuesday, so plan midweek onward. Note the correct site is oana.surf; an older .ch domain no longer resolves properly. Easy to combine with a Lucerne day trip.
