A world-class PerfectSwell in a five-star setting that almost nobody can ride. Significant for the industry, mostly theoretical for the traveler.
Boa Vista Village Surf Club opened in 2023 in Porto Feliz, about an hour from São Paulo, as the first PerfectSwell installation in Latin America. The pool anchors a Fasano-operated luxury country club and residential resort. Like its neighbor Praia da Grama, access is limited to property owners and members with their families and guests.
The PerfectSwell basin measures roughly 220 by 160 meters, about six acres, and its air-pressure system can be programmed wave by wave: lefts, rights, tubes, and beginner rollers with rides up to 22 seconds. A first-anniversary update added five new wave settings, and the pool regularly hosts Brazil's professional surfers for training blocks.
Members, owners, and their guests. For the traveling surfer it is another look-but-don't-surf Brazilian pool, though clips from training sessions here are worth watching to understand what PerfectSwell can do at full size.
No day passes exist. Access is tied to Boa Vista property ownership or club membership, which covers the member's family and direct dependents.
If you are invited, Porto Feliz is an easy drive from São Paulo or Viracopos airport. The surf lodge accommodates member guests on surf-and-stay packages. Otherwise, admire it from the drone footage.
