No system price is publicly disclosed. Revel Surf sits inside a reported $280 million mixed-use retail and entertainment development, but that figure covers the whole complex, not the wave system alone.
SwellMFG uses 21 mechanical wave boards sequenced by software rather than air pressure or paddles. Its defining feature is a genuine A-frame: a left and a right peel simultaneously from the same center point, so regular-footers and goofy-footers both ride frontside in the same session. Sessions at Revel Surf cap at 16 surfers, eight per side, generating roughly 10 to 12 waves per surfer an hour.
SwellMFG has no single public headquarters, run instead by a distributed team of engineers and surfers: executive director and co-inventor Matthew Gunn is based in Phoenix, Arizona; brand lead Shane Beschen on Oahu's North Shore; and engineering lead John Bushey in Minneapolis. No public founding date has been confirmed. The company's first and so far only installation is Revel Surf in Mesa, Arizona.
