The Surf Lounge at PopStroke

The Surf Lounge at PopStroke is the Citywave standing-wave venue at the Grandscape district in The Colony, north of Dallas. It opened in 2024 as Fireside Surf, billed by its pool builder as the first and largest stationary wave in Texas, and was taken over by PopStroke, the mini-golf group backed by Tiger Woods, reopening as The Surf Lounge on 5 March 2026. Surfing is for Surf Club members and their guests; food and drink are open to the public during set hours.

A 2,000-square-foot Citywave deep-water standing wave, ridden on real boards with fins, from beginner settings to faster flow for experienced riders. Surf sessions now run under PopStroke's Surf Club membership, alongside the venue's mini-golf courses and poolside dining.

DFW locals willing to join the Surf Club for regular repetitions, and groups mixing dinner, mini golf and wave time. There is no public walk-up surfing, so casual visitors need a membership to ride.

Surfing is by membership. The Surf Club costs $100 a month for two sessions, $400 a month for ten and $750 a month for unlimited sessions, with a three-month commitment on every plan except Unlimited, and members can bring a guest for $100 a session. Sessions are 40 minutes, and surfers must be 12 or older and at least 75 lbs (PopStroke's Grandscape surfing page, 23 October 2026). Food and drink are open to non-members during designated hours.
