East Point Reef Club

East Point Reef Club is a surf and thermal spa venue at Bridal Falls Waterpark in Popkum, BC, at the Bridal Falls exit (Exit 135) of Highway 1, about 15 minutes east of Chilliwack. It describes itself as a four-season surf and social club for everyone. Its eatery and surf supply and general store opened in June 2025; the surf pool and spa are still listed as coming soon. Local press in 2024 described it as Canada's first surf park and Nordic spa, with the wave technology from Ka'ana Wave Company, which ran a pop-up surf park at Britannia Beach in 2022.

The club says it produces four features: a mellow River Jump, a coaching-friendly Surf wave, a 16-foot Wake with a left and a right, and a whitewater channel for kayak progression, with flows of up to 200,000 gallons a minute that stop in seconds.

Fraser Valley and Vancouver-area surfers and families, and Highway 1 travellers. The club says its surfing suits all ages and abilities, and the planned hot pools, saunas and cold plunge add a spa day for non-surfers.

The address is 53790 Popkum Rd S at the Bridal Falls exit of Highway 1, with free parking including room for RVs. The eatery and store are open 11am to 6pm daily. Vancouver is about 1 hour 40 minutes by car; Abbotsford International Airport is about 55 minutes.
