Praia da Grama is the artificial-beach centerpiece of Fazenda da Grama, a gated condominium estate in Itupeva, about 45 minutes from São Paulo. Opened in 2021, it was South America's first Wavegarden Cove: more than half a kilometer of white-sand beachfront with waves from 0.5 to 2 meters, up to 1,000 an hour, used only by owners and their authorized guests.
Fazenda da Grama pairs the surf beach with a golf course, an equestrian center and agroforestry, and is in its fourth and final phase. Lots in the phases tied to the beach run 2,200 to 3,300 square meters. A local broker reported resale prices of R$7 million to R$7.4 million for 2,700 to 3,800 square meter lots with beach title, a beach association fee of about R$250 a month and condominium costs near R$7,300 a month, with surf sessions charged separately at R$200 to R$500.
The community is anchored by a Wavegarden Cove wave lagoon. It shares its surf with Praia da Grama.
