A milestone install: the first EpicSurf ever, at an honest price for Florida families. Manage expectations and it delivers.
Heroes Paradise, a family-owned entertainment center in Brandon, outside Tampa, switched on its EpicSurf deep-water standing wave in June 2026. It is the first EpicSurf installation anywhere and the first standing wave on the US East Coast, with adjustable wave faces from two to five feet.
EpicSurf, built by aquatics manufacturer ADG, is a deep-water standing wave in the Citywave mold: adjustable height and flow, real boards with fins, and carving-focused riding. The ES46 model here is billed as the largest standing wave on the East Coast and the second largest in the country.
Tampa-area beginners and families, and Florida surfers who want reps between the Gulf's rare swells. Florida's traveling-wave pool, The Point in Fellsmere, is a two-hour drive east, so the two cover different needs.
Opening pricing was 60 dollars for a single session, about 600 dollars for a 12-session card, and a summer monthly membership at a similar price point. Expect rates to settle as the novelty period ends.
Brandon is 20 minutes from Tampa. Book online, start on the lower settings if you have never ridden flow, and go on weekdays to dodge the family-crowd peak.
